If you like her and want to date her - not just hit it and quit it - then you should pursue her. Where was her boyfriend? She takes you to two parties, she's obviously lonely or missing out on something, and she gets from you what "he" is not giving -- so if you're interested pursue her, it's kinda sad to see choice girls not getting the attention/affection they're looking for -- their only option to change the situation is what she did to you - reach out to a new dude, try to have a good time... you know best.
