you didn`t had enough success with th c/f cuz you have to ve cocky AND funny if you dont use the funny part properly you will look like an asshole, give it a try that way, you got it right but is your funny to cocky proportion thats wrong you have to be cocky and then show your kidding iby smiling or laughter but not to much so she treats you like if you have said a joke but in her head she accepts what you`ve said

You may have used the C/F routine to much, had bad timing (she may have been in a bad mood) or as peter pointed out, to much cocky not enough funny. C/F does have it's advantages, but use it lightly and at the right moment.

Do you feel the last things you've said have just brought you closer to the girl, generated more warmth between you?
There's a time when it gets too much, you must have known people who take one approach (one joke, one conversation topic) and just never ease up. And it gets old.
Also is there a relaxed vibe (at least on your part) and some feeling of comfort underlying the exchange? The vibe between you has got to feel good, (with the exception of shit-tests).
If it doesn't something's missing.
I think you want about 3 parts Funny to 1 part Cocky otherwise it gets too adversarial.
Recently I've found Cool, Calm and Friendly to be more effective.

The right amount of C/F depends on the situation and the girl you are trying to game.

Some girls love the banter associated with C&F, others are a little more uptight (i don't waist a second of my time with girls like this) and may not respond to it.

Learn to read their mood and personality. You can usually tell right away the type of girl you're dealing with.

Don't start shooting off scripted C/F lines hoping to get a positive response from every girl you talk to.
