Hey guys, couple of things I would like to discuss here and it would be great to get some feedback. Well I met this girl at one of the college parties I attended. Cutting to the chase I got her number and called her 2 days later for a simple on campus lunch, she agreed to do it. Right off the bat I showed confidence by not acting like a gitty idiot that was pumped because I was there and generally just made some basic small talk and got her laughing a little bit. Well all of a sudden she reaches down to answer a text message someone sent her. I had no problem with that, but it kept going on and she kept answering these stupid text messages. Well I finally asked her why she keeps doing that. She responded that her cell phone was like a 5th limb and to keep talking. Usually Im clever and could come up with some quick cocky comment but failed to do so. Anyway's I just wanted to add that I gave her the old "I need a female opinon on something." She seemed very interested and well into the convo about what it is that really attracts women to men. She gave her input, then I decided to share my opinon which were all Carlos's ideas just bulleted. I just want to note that it seemed that she had a whole new interest level me, partly I think because she assumed that since I knew alot about the topic that I had to be naturally the kind of guy I was explaining, and ignored the fact that she had a b/f back home. Well what I want to know is any good "cocky comments" I could say to girl when she is constantly on the phone, either talking or text messaging, and also was it a good idea to tell her my opinion on why women are attracted to men, meaning should I have just heard her out and keep asking more question.

I would make sure she knew just how rude and off-putting her behavior was... without being a dick about it, of course.

"Honey, do you realize how unattractive it is for a girl to try to act popular with her cell phone?" Laughs.

"Sweety, you're in violation of the 'Texting at Parties' law signed on March 3, 2005. It was declared rude, boring, and ... uh... get a life!" Grab her phone and play keep-away.

I think those would work well if done with the right frame and playful confidence.
