When A girl hits on you heaps but spreads rumors about you??

I don't get what is with these girls..

There has been a few like this.. they tell other people they hate me (especially other girls) and try to make up bs but when they see me they come running up all excited and hit on me obviously..

WTF!! for example there is this girl at work.. one day I was talking to her about my "stalkers" (these girls who follow me around everywhere) and she goes "give me your number and ill send you heaps of love messages" I laughed thinking it was a joke and gave it to her, which was a big mistake.. but I hardly knew her then.. she did actually send me heaps of love messages and sms'ed me every day for a few weeks and then one day she send "sorry but I don't want a boyfriend because then I can't be with other guys" WTF.. I thought she thinks were going out.. because she messages me heaps or something (shes only 16)..

I was like "ok whatever" and she cracked it also combined with some jealous guy at work because I went out with another girl he liked.. and must of liked this one because their going out now.. they suit each other!

My gf now hates her because she talks shit about me and also this other girl who likes me told me that she was talking shit about me too "oh ben tried to root me" what utter crap.. but obviously nobody with any intelligence buys into her bs because they both hate her now and love me!


But when I see her she comes running up to talk to me.. I usually just talk to her giving her the benefit of the doubt until the second person told me what she was saying so the other day when she walked past she looked real happy and I did the 'scratch my face with my middle finger' thing to her and shes like "fine don't talk to me then".. I thought good.. because it would of been an argument..

My gf says when shes with her bf she never looks happy.. and I add until she sees me :roll:

Theres other similar examples but im sure you get the point.. im not gonna go into it anymore..

What the hell is with this? Is it like their trying to eliminate other competition so they can be with me.. why don't they realize that crap won't work on me!

Are you SERIOUS man? Just had one back in school who said she hated me, and was always rude and bitchy towards me, for no real reason since I mostly let her be because I didn't want to deal with it. Just seems weird that would mean she is int you BIG time. Or perhaps COULD it means that, but it's one of those HOW she says it things? You seem to have an insight on this, can you clarify on it a little? Where and how you arrived at this theory maybe?

I THINK it might be that she is into you, but then again she thinks you're too good for her. You're out of her reach. She thinks she has no chance, and this hurts her.
Because of this she gets together with this other guy. One part of her wants to test you and see if you get jealous or something and the other part just wants to be happy. With this other guy, maybe, as she cannot be happy with you (you've got a girlfriend already).
Also, she doesn't want to admit to herself that she might like or even love you, because then she had to admit that she didn't get what she wanted and she had to admit to herself that she is unhappy (this also hurts). AND it might even get worse. She might have to admit to other people that she likes you, and maybe they are not so understanding and might hit into this wound. This hurts her further.

It's just self-defence. Saying she hates you makes her feel better about you not being with her. From her point of view it makes sense.

I have not experienced this already, but came to this by thinking a bit. That's the good thing when you have two elder sisters and no brother. You know (to an extent) how girls think. But the laws of attraction always were a mystery to me.
